Jaime is doing well and improving everyday. Yesterday, Jaime was able to make the move we all have been praying for, his own private room. He was moved out of the ICU into his very own private room! He will now face extensive physical therapy to improve his normal functions. His release date will be determined by how well his physical therapy goes. Please pray that God will help him to fight this tough battle.
Natalie and baby are doing well. Please continue to remember her and the baby in your prayers as she is due mid April.

ReplyDeleteJanice, thank God....this is what we discussed Monday. God is so good to you and your family and Jaime. I shared with many your concerns and wishes were for Jaime to have the strength he needed to press forward and this blog report confirms an answer to your prayers.
As these months, weeeks, and days pass, and hearing your voice, makes us all want you all to be here at home even more.
Jaime, we all love you so much. You know how Sharee feels about you.... dear Lord, she loves you. You have fought hard through this and God has been right beside you all along. Keep fighting, stay strong, when your strength is depleted, call upon His name. Remember the power of prayer is in the NAME OF JESUS! He is as close as the mention of His name. When you are in physical therapy and you know your feeling weak, remember to call upon His name. Just the name!!
Natalie, you have been such an example to all. You are truly Jaime's mate and partner in life and about to be a wonderful new Mommy!
I love you and have utmost respect for you.
You are a Godly woman.
Jimmy, you know I love you. You are a wonderful person that has a great heart. Jaime is lucky and blessed to have a dad like you.

ReplyDeleteHello, I just can't put it into words how happy and greatful that Jaime has walked his 30 feet!!!!!! I know you all are feeling it hundred's of times more. Aunt Janice when you were telling me all about it last night all my emotions were running crazy you(I) didnt know to laugh, cry, jump, run or just be still and try to take it all in. I probley covered most of those thins thou after I got off the phone ( I know crying and the stillness was just to Thank God for Jaime and Nat for the hand of God on them and for the many lives that each of you touch every day and some you may not even know it yet.) Well, it want be long now that you all will be home, and baby Till will be here. Love you all sooooo, very much. You are always in my prayers and close to my heart everyday.

ReplyDeleteI just want you to know that I know this time period of healing is probably harder for all of you than the times before. The therapy without the relief of the pain medicine has got to be very difficult, and I know how hard it is to watch someone you love so much suffer. But this will not last forever! Jaime is going to get stronger everyday and each day will be just a little bit easier. Hang in there! We are still pulling for you, and we know the Lord is aware of every detail. We are just so glad we still have you, Jaime.
ReplyDeleteHey - I wish so bad that I was going to GA this weekend with Janna and Julie!! I'm envious that they are going to get to see you all but so glad they are!! I wish so bad that I didn't have to work and that GA was closer or that plane tickets were cheap :-)
ReplyDeleteJaimo - I hear that you are making so much progress and getting stronger every day...keep it up Bubba, your hard work and determination is going to pay off. How is your hair? Are you wearing a ponytail yet? Are you still drinking sweet tea by the gallons? Have you given pet names to all of the nurses (doll, baby, honey, sugar, etc…)?
Natalie - I think of you so often...I've always known that you were a great girl but I'm convinced even more from the time that we got to spend together a few weeks ago...know that you are loved and prayed for. You are truly beautiful inside and out!
I'm listening to a song right now called "Lord I'm Amazed by You" and I wanted to share the words from the second verse with you guys...it says, "You paint the morning sky with miracles in mind, My hope will always stand, For You hold me in Your hand"...be reminded that you all are in the hand of God, He has you in mind and that His love for you is great!
Jaime and Natalie, I am praying for total peace of mind, patience to endure a little longer, great determination and strength to push even harder!
Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Janice, your being by Jaime and Natalie’s side over the past few months is such a testament of your love for your children!
