Talking!

Jaime is now able to speak. He spoke on Friday for the first time since December 24th. Friday, Natalie received a phone call on her mobile, it was Jaime. She did not believe it at first, but it definitely was him with a little scratch in his voice. The nurse held the phone for him and dialed her number so he could surprise her, and what a surprise it was. He was able to talk to the family every visiting period over the weekend. This was very encouraging to the Moser family. He still has a trach collar but it is small enough for him to speak with it.

He is improving every day; however, he still has a long way to go. Jaime is now completely aware of the situation he is in. He is in pain and has severe nausea. He is not allowed to move yet because of the fragile cultured skin on his body. This is very difficult for him as he desperately wants to get out of the bed. Please keep praying for him to stay strong during this mental battle. Pray for his pain and his nausea to subside. Also pray for infection and his overall physical health. He has a lot of healing to do.

  1. Jimmy, Janice, Natalie, and Jaime,

Wishing you all a great day - this is the day the Lord has made and I (we) will rejoice in it.

God is there and with you all every step and those steps will lead home to Jackson and good days ahead.

Each of you are strong -
Jaime - you are strong - stay strong
Natalie - you are SO strong - we can see what maybe you can't
Jimmy - you are determined - when you want something DONE - you push
Janice - you are one to "tell" something or someone what needs to be done and see that it gets done

God hears every prayer and be reminded of your own personal strengths.

    Love you all.
    Barbara

  2. Every smile, every whisper, every twinkle of an eye, and every wiggle of a toe is uplifting for those who are waiting and anticipating Jaime's recovery. Having a horizontal relationship with family and friends and a vertical relationship with God yields a tremendous source of strength and endurance. We are praying and trusting that today and each day forward will grant reports full of victories for Jaime!

  6. Natalie and Family, I just wanted you to know that I am still praying for Jaimie's complete healing also. Sometimes it helps to know that people are pulling for you and with you. We are. People from the Dental School ask about you every day. We miss you.

I hope today is a great day for Jaimie and that each day is a better day for all of you.
    Love,
    Helen

  8. Hello friends!

Janice, when you called last night and you were so excited, I thought the baby was here - ha! Of course, it was about the surprise shower. I was anxious to see the websites you gave.

It was wonderful to see. Natalie made me cry (yes, Janice, I can cry!).

Once I got to the office this morning, I
e-mailed Natalie's office the websites. Here are a few of the comments, "Thank you so much for providing this information. Natalie is very dear to our hearts and we want to know what is happening with the family. I will forward this to Dr. William Buchanan, her boss. I'm sure they would love to see it as well."

Natalie, you have a special touch of God on your life. You represent being a Pentecostal lady in such a beautiful way. It is an honor and privilege to be a lady in the way we believe God loves. You have it! Your Godly spirit is felt. Your peers here at UMC have the utmost respect and love for you. Thank God for you being a part of the Jackson family. The nurse in the video said they wanted you to know they loved you. Bottom line, to know you is to love you!

Wishing you all a great day.
    Love you all.
