Jaime's Progress

We apologize for the lengthy delay in our postings. Over the last few days, Jaime has shown rapid improvement coupled with Natalie's many MD appointments in preparation for the soon arrival of their little man. Jaime continues to steadily progress.

With his kidney function reporting at 100%, dialysis was discontinued on March 5th. On March 6th, Jaime was positioned in a cardiac chair with toleration for over 1 hour. Since the accident, this marked the 1st time he was tranferred from the bed with the exception of his surgeries. The physicians removed his trach the following day. Due to his continual miraculous healing, he is presently at the state of beginning physical therapy in order to regain usage of his limbs (which have been immobilized for the past months). These treatment days will be extremely painful and taxing for Jaime. Please continue to pray for God to grant him strength to endure and encouragement to strive.

  1. Hello, everyone! Sorry, I haven't gotten to call or write to you in the last few days. We have been out of town. I'm so very Thankful that everyone is doing great. Nat, hope the new pictures turned out well enough for you, so you could see Till. And see his little nose and count all of toes and tiny fingers:-) Love you all, very much and miss you even more. Tee.

  5. Hey everyone,
I'm glad to hear that Jaime is continuing to improve and gain strength! I was so encouraged when I was finally able to come and visit with you all. As I was washing up to go into the room for the first time, I looked over at Jaime and he said 'hey baby...'! At that moment I wanted to just go give him a BIG BEAR HUG! Those two words were huge to me...that is exactly what he would have said if he were seeing me for the first time in a while in Jackson. I so enjoyed getting to spend time and especially pray with Jaime over those few days...thanks for sharing your visitations with me. I loved reminiscing about all of the funny things in our past and hearing Natalie & Jaime's love story over again. I miss you guys. Know that we are continuing to pray for Jaime and all of you.
    With lots of love,
    Dawn (aka Don to Natalie)

  7. Peace...
it dosen't mean to be in a place
where there is no noise, trouble or hard work.
it means to be in the midst of those things and still
BE CALM IN YOUR HEART... Because GOD Is With You.

sending good thoughts and much love to all of you, amy
