Wednesday night at nine o‘clock, the burn center, labor and delivery, and staff at doctor’s hospital threw a surprise baby shower for Natalie! Jaime, Jimmy, and Janice were in on the surprise but were sworn to secrecy. The delicious food was catered by the hospital’s cafeteria. It included a large white layer cake that said “Congratulations Natalie and Jaime,” and was trimmed with blue baby booties. Jaime and Natalie were showered with gifts from nurses, doctors, surgeons, and staff. Herk Johnessee, RN, Director of The Joseph M. Still burn center was also present for the event. Beth Frits, Public Relations Director, arranged for two local TV stations and The Augusta Chronicle to cover this wonderful occasion. Natalie was overcome with appreciation for the kindness and thoughtfulness of the Doctors Hospital staff. She was quoted as saying, “I could say surprised, but given the level of care here, it really does not surprise me.” Natalie, the Moser family, and friends have been amazed at the wonderful people here at the burn center since we arrived on Dec 24th. In our eyes, the staff are all angels dressed in scrubs.
Jaime is doing well in his recovery and is improving. Please pray for him as he continues his journey towards recovery.

The news clips were great! And I'm not surprised that Jaime and Natalie have stolen the hearts of the people there in Augusta! I will finally get to see you all today!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Dawn
What a pleasant surprise - a baby shower! Those who are caring for Jaime and remaining steadfast with Natalie have already fell in love with their soon to arrive "little miracle". We know that this has been a lengthy process of walking by faith; however, we also know that our God is faithful. Our prayers continue to be with you for Jaime's healing and for the safe arrival of the little unique man you are soon to meet.

Those news clips were circulated yesterday at a delightfully furious pace! All that I've talked to are so pleased that you were shown such a wonderful measure of love - as I'm sure many back here in Jackson are wanting to do, at this very moment!
ReplyDeleteI'm so thankful to see that Jaime's getting better - day by day - and still I recognize the need for more prayer.
You are carried within the heart of FPC. Lord Bless Y'all!
Oh my what a surprise to watch the clip and feel as though for the first time in 3 months we had a visit. It was a joy to see you all looking so well.
ReplyDeleteYour family at FPC are waiting for your joyful homecoming.
Still in our prayers always in our hearts.
Love, amy

ReplyDeleteGood Friday afternoon to you all.
I had a dream last night that ya'll were home and all the focus was on you, Natalie. In my dream, you were surrounded by well wishers and ALL were wanting to see you and your tummy. As you would imagine, you were a bit shy about the typical FPC forwardness (those of us that are a part of FPC know what that means)...but in the dream, you were sitting, like in your TV debut...I mean interview...and everyone was pushing in and saying, they wanted to see, they wanted to feel....you were overwhelmed but BEAMING.... once I woke this morning, I had to sort all that and think, OH, that was only a dream or maybe a vision. (By the way, you were awesome in your interview...really great job.)
Just to let you all know, you are never forgotten or not being thought of. We all are so anxious for you ALL to come home.
God bless you all, indeed. He is so great and greatly to be praised. As many have written, the journey is close to bringing you all home.
We are so anxious for Jaime to be home, you all to be home and now Baby Till (sp?) to be back home with Jackson family.
We love you all.
Barbara
Good Saturday morning.
ReplyDeleteI have a conference today, so I'm in my office.
I thought I would share my calendar reading for today.
God does many thing which we do not understand.
Of course He does - He is God, perfect in wisdom, love, and power. We are only children, very far from perfect in anything. A true faith must rest solidly on His character and His Word, not on our particular conceptions of what He ought to do.
Romans 11:33: "Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judments, and his paths beyond tracing out!"
"A true faith" all of you have proven throughout this path GOD has put you on.
He is with you - He is with you - He is the Lord.
I love you all.
Love,
Barbara
Dear Friends,
ReplyDeleteI think of you often and pray that God will give you an awareness of His great care and love. 1 Peter 5:10
