Steadily Improving

Jaime has been steadily improving over the past few days. Every day he seems to make progress. He is completely off the ventilator now and is breathing on his own with no assistance. He still is not able to speak audibly because of the trach. Doctors are keeping this for a while longer in case it is needed in the future. He is still on dialysis. However, his kidneys are functioning and doctors are using the dialysis as a tool to assist in the healing process. Today, Jaime sat up in bed for about thirty minutes. He had a barium swallow test and did well with it.
He is scheduled for surgeries at the end of the week to work on his grafts. Continue to check the blog daily for updates. Please keep praying for his healing and also for pain and anxiety as he becomes more alert and aware.

  3. Hello Moser Family,
Good morning! I was so excited to read the update this morning. Julie had shared with us, Sunday night at church, the progress that was coming about rapidly. Truly, praise God.
As so many have stated, we are all so anticipating you all coming home. Good days and good times are ahead. Always, God is great and greatly to be praised. In all things give thanks. THUMP the devil! he (no upper case for him - ha!) is not welcome among us - we can tell him to go away and go to his home where he belongs. he never stole your victory - never - not for a second. Jimmy - your admission that he was on your shoulder did not mean you were listening to him - he just made his ugly presence known and you told him what to do and you gave him a jump start by thumping him off!!! We are still in prayer with you and everyone around this prayer chain for daily strength - every hour - minute and second of the coming days!!! Love you all - have a good day. I was so excited reading Jaime had "sat up" - wow!!! Have a great day.

  5. This is just getting better and better!! When Tim called on Valentine's Day to let us know the news I could hardly keep my seat in the resturant. But, in my heart I was jumping up and down:) We had a good time while we were there. Hope to see you all soon. I know you all had a good time with Paypay. Hope you told Jaime that Paypay is working on a disguise so he can see him:) God is still doing great things! Love you all and are praying for you daily. (Tee)
