Another Day

Jaime had a trach put in this morning around nine a.m. This was successful with no complications. This is in order to remove the breathing tube and also allows easier access to the lungs. It is much more comfortable for Jaime and decreases the chances of permanently injuring his vocal cords. Jaime is scheduled for his 5th surgery on Thursday. Doctors are focusing on his right arm and hand. Please pray specifically for Jaime's blood during surgery. Due to previous complications from his last transfusion, doctors are planning to give blood only if absolutely necessary.
