We woke up Sunday morning going through the normal routine of going to the hospital for the morning visit. Jaime began getting more sick as the day progressed. By 6:30/5:30 c, our world changed once again. Doctors informed us that Jaime's blood pressure had been falling and his temperature was rising. He had Sepsis(severe infection). They wanted to start him on Xygris(medicine to treat Sepsis). This is administered over a four day period to fight the infection. Doctors started Jaime on the first dose of Xygris. While we were sitting in waiting room in Augusta, we had no idea that God was calling his people to pray. In Jackson, MS Pastor Chris Craft called for special prayer for Jaime. Also, in Martin, LA , Rev. James Rod Nesmith felt a strong pull for his church to pray for Jaime at that moment. God was watching without any of us knowing it. When we all started to pray, He answered our prayers. Within moments, doctors came in to the waiting room and informed us that his temperature was down and his blood pressure was up. What a Miracle! Once again, we are in awe of God's Power, Mercy, and Grace!
On Monday, we began again. When we arrived for the morning visit, Doctors informed us that they only needed to administer one dose of Xygris to Jaime. They checked his blood and there was no need to continue the remaining doses and that they were planning to begin grafts on Tuesday.
Tuesday: We were preparing for surgery day and they started about 4:30e. After about an hour, the surgeon came in and talked to us. He told us that Jaime needed a little more preparation before grafts. He said he completed this successfully and that Jaime was ready for grafts Wednesday. We have faith in God and trust the doctors.
We thank you for your prayers. There is no doubt in any of our minds what took place on Sunday night. Thank you for the blogs, emails, and calls. We love you!
The Moser Family
Doctors have informed the Moser's that Jaime has good range of motion in his hands and arms. They believe there will not have to be any grafts on the palms of his hands because they appear to be healing on their own. He will have grafts on his arms, tops of his hands, and fingers. This will begin tomorrow.
It would take pages and pages to post everything that happens in Augusta on a daily basis. We post the most vital information possible. Keep checking the blog and we will give the best information we can. The Moser family loves hearing from you nightly so please continue the comments, emails, and calls. God Bless!

ReplyDeleteDear Jim, Janice, Natalie, Jaime and all the family. Please know that you are ALL in my thoughts and prayers EVERY day, often through the day I stop and read your blogs and say a special prayer for you all! Janice, we go back a long way, Jimmy, too, just not quite as far, so I feel a part of your family. I love you all and I am believing in COMPLETE victory in this situation. We don't know why things happen, but God does and He is in control and He will make something beautiful out of this tragedy! It is already happening. All of our faith is being lifted higher and higher because we know without God the story would be so different. Keep on believing, keep on testifying to God's grace and mercy! We are!
ReplyDeleteAlways, Diane Robinson

ReplyDeleteAt times, life's path
seems filled with things
that make the going rough,
And we wish there were
a smoother road,
for we feel we've had enough...
But, if we pause a moment
and remember Who's in charge,
The hills that loom ahead of us
no longer seem so large,
And every rock before us,
when we know we're not alone,
Becomes not just a stumbling block
but one more stepping stone.
Hope today is a better day...
With love and prayers,
amy ~
