It has come to our attention that there are many conflicting stories concerning Jaime's overall health. Here are the facts: Jaime has not spoken since December 24th. He has been on a ventilator for the entire time here. He is under heavy sedation. Occasionally, Jaime responds with slight movement of his facial expressions. He is in the ICU burn unit in critical condition and remains extremely vulnerable to infection due to his exposed wounds. Jaime is progressing as expected in relation to other patients with the same severe injuries. There have been no skin grafts at this time. They are preparing Jaime's wounds for grafts in the weeks to come. Please continue to keep Jaime in your prayers as he travels the road to recovery.
