16th Surgery
Jaime had his 16th and hopefully final Surgery on Friday. Doctors completed the grafts. Some of them were from his own skin and some from the cultured skin that arrived today. The surgery was several hours long and went very well. There were no complications. Doctors informed the Moser family that if there were no complications, Jaime should be home in about three weeks! Please pray that this will happen. We are all anxiously awaiting this wonderful day!

It is a blessing to see the Lord still at work for Jamie. It is times like these that I myself and I'm very sure all the Moser family as well as all of the other friends that are following Jamie's progression are once again impressed by the power of our Lord Christ Jesus and just how much He loves us and is always willing to hear and respond to prayers offered up in sincerity.
ReplyDeleteContinue to give thanks always for this love.
Hello to all the Moser Family and praise the Lord! This is a report we have long awaited. So thankful for the way God has so miraculously touched Jaime's body and all of our lives through this. You do know that Richard and I plan to be at church with you when Jaime returns. What a glorious day that will be be. You're always in our prayers and we love all of you so much.

Mosers - you know who you are!
ReplyDeleteSo great to read the update and hear from you, Janice, with the great "wonderful" news. Your voice was smiling....I could see that beautiful face of yours lit up with true joy!
For a mother, there is nothing like the love of a child. Dads have their special bond but a mother and a child and a mother and a son have a special bond. Jaime is an outstanding young man - so polite and always respectful and he did not learn this on his own. He had two good examples to follow.
I'm not a Bible scholar but I'll be like Brother Craft if it is in the Bible good, if it isn't it should be (ha!) - but there is a thought that He is the wind beneath our wings (maybe Bette Midler comes to mind) anyway her song may say a person was the wind but for Jaime....it is God and the prayers of His people that He has listened to and answered.
In that song, some of the lyrics are "I was the one with all the glory, while you were the one with all the strength" - Jaime is not asking for any glory and maybe the medical staff sometimes thinks it is Jaime...but we ALL know the strength Jaime has is from God. "I can fly higher than an eagle, because you are the wind beneath my wings" - again God. "I would be nothing without you" - that applies to us all but we know that Jaime would not be where he is today if it were not for God. "Thank you, thank you, thank God for you, the wind beneath my wings" - again, God is this wind.
Serving God is an honor and a privilege and He rewards us with blessings and yet He is the one to be praised. God is a true "Father" - just like us parents - we don't care about recognition to us - we are so proud of our children when they do well and we can do something for them -THAT IS GOD - He is smiling knowing He was in control of this situation - "He was there all the time".....
Natalie, I can't wait to see your "tummy" - I know Tilmon (HOW do you spell that child's name - ha!) I thought it had an "a" in there...is growing.
Jimmy, I'm looking forward to hugging you and giving you a big kiss IN JACKSON.....
I beleive it was Sunday night, from the pulpit the update was given and the person giving the update said that you, Jimmy, wanted everyone to continue praying - WE ALL ARE.
It is obvious by all the messages.....Heaven knows who Jaime Moser is...the angels have gathered around to see this young man....Jaime is loved, respected and he will have a great testimony for the rest of his life.
Looking forward to this journey heading to Jackson and the birth of yet another grandson in the Moser family. Austin family has all girls (for now) - Smith family and Mann family have both (we're special) - and the Mosers have all boys!!!!
Love you all and we will see you soon.
