It has now been six days since Jaime was rushed in for emergency surgery to repair his perforated colon and remove the contents(six liters) from his abdomen. He never did get sick. Many friends and family came to Augusta during this scary situation to be support for the Moser family. We anxiously waited for him to get extremely sick. With the exception of the normal effects of that type of surgery, nothing seemed to change. God simply didn't allow the bacteria to make him sick. We posted on the blog on Thursday that we believed God would have a very different schedule for Jaime. In fact, He did. We witnessed a miracle!
Jaime had his 13th surgery Tuesday night around 8 p.m. Everything was a success. This surgery was the one scheduled before he had the complications on Thursday. He is now prepared for another grafting surgery to come soon.
Please continue to pray for Jaime to continue fighting off infection and for his upcoming surgeries. Also remember to pray for the Moser family as they deal with the stress and exhaustion of this up and down emotional struggle.

We had great church tonight. I can't wait till everyone is home and when the Sunday or Wednesday comes for Jaime to come back to church we will ALL have GREAT church that day. We love you guys and will be seeing you all soon. Praying for you all, for .peace and each day at 8:15 am that God will give you that extra faith and hope that "today will be a good day":) and Baby Till when you get old enough to understand what went on before you were born. That your Mom and Dad (along with the rest of the family) were made of strong stuff, and that their faith in God brought them along way to where they are now. Trust in their leadership, they will not lead you wrong. Because they follow the one true God. He leads them and they know how to trust in him in a mighty way. We love you all.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful report. God is so good and what we don't understand, we can trust that He has all things in His hands.

Hey everyone,
ReplyDeleteWe are so encouraged with the good reports that we've been hearing! You guys stay strong…rest and know that God is in complete control. I can't get a song off of my heart for you guys...it's called 'Breathe on Me'. I believe I shared it with Julie a few months ago but I'll send it to her again so that you guys can listen to it (maybe Uncle Jimmy can even give an altar appeal at the end of the song and you guys can have your own little church service right there in the waiting room :-). The lyrics talk about God being our reason for living...how He is the God of our story and that we want Him to write every line for His glory...how when we are weak, He is strong...how His breath in us will be our song. For me, this song has been a huge strength and it takes me to a very intimate place with God every time I listen to it. Maybe you guys will find greater strength than I’ve experienced and may it become one of your many prayers during this difficult time.
I love you all and I am so glad that you’ve had such a great support system over the past several weeks. I felt like I was missing a reunion this past weekend :-)
We continue praying for a complete recovery for Jaime.
Love,
Dawn

Scarlette Neese
Tricia and I and our church (New Life Regional) are praying for all of you! We had heard that Jaime was in the hospital but had no idea of the nature.
ReplyDeleteAs I read this blog today (thanks to David Long), I was moved to tears and smiles and prayers. We love the Moser family and want all of you to know that with every day the company of united prayers is INCREASING!
Yes, God is doing miracles. But God had many more in store for the days ahead. I was extremely moved by Jimmy's thumping. Rest assured, there are many family and friends and even total strangers that are BOMBARDING the throne room. On days that you cannot pray, don't worry, we will all be praying for you.
We love you all. Thanks for keeping everyone posted here.

ReplyDeleteWe are thankful for the good news! When God steps on the scene, everything that is usual and normal can be altered. He planned for Jaime to be the exception and that he has been over the past weeks. Stay strong and be encouraged by your victories!

Janice, I have been reading the book by Max Lucado that you gave to Bill, "A Gentle Thunder"...The book talks about the storms of life that we don't understand, but God always has a purpose and these things don't just happen by chance. One of the scriptures mentioned :
ReplyDeletePsalms 18:19 "He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me." I believe God delights in the strong faith that we all have hung onto throughout this storm. Another translation says, "He saved me because He delights in me." We know that Jaime is in God's hands and what better hands than a master that delights in Jaime and the complete trust placed in HIM.
Although we get anxious for a quick, complete recovery...The Lord delights in Jaime and will bring it all to pass in His time...I always find myself praying this..."God, just place your hand on Jaime that he may live and live a more abundant life than he has ever known before.." and I believe it with all my heart.
I love you all
Nancy
May the "God of all comfort" wrap
ReplyDeleteyou in His arms... hold you up close. You are in our hearts -and your names on our lips(every
day)...
as we talk to Him about you. We send our love
to the entire family. Your faith will not
fail....in Jesus Name. May God hold you now
in a loving embrace..
in His grip,
M G
Hello to all the Moser Family,
ReplyDeleteWe are so very very thankful for the mighty hand of God on Jaime and on all of you. What a great testimony all of you are going to have. We all know how great our God is, but to see the way he has touched Jaime is just incredible. May Jesus keep you all in the palm of his hand. Praying for you continually.
