Completed Surgery

Jaime had his 14th surgery completed on Thursday. It was a success and there were no complications. He is scheduled for another grafting surgery on or around the 20th. He is more alert than ever before. All of his vital signs look good. Keep checking the blog for more updates. Please continue to pray.

  1. I read this today and thought of you all...Thank God for wonderful friends that have ministered and stayed so close by you through this time...

    FRIENDS ARE ANGELS
WHO LIFT US TO OUR FEET
    WHEN OUR WINGS HAVE
    TROUBLE REMEMBERING HOW TO FLY...

Be encouraged, you are so loved and never a day goes by that heaven isn't bombarded with prayer for you all. It has been a long road, but today it feels like Jaime has come a mighty long way! To God be the glory!!

Janice, it was so nice to hear the excitement back in your voice talking about Jaime's progress today. I pray that the last visit was just as encouraging, I will talk to you soon.

    Much Love
    Nancy

  3. Jimmy, Janice, and Natalie,
So happy to read this great report. As others have stated, to God be the glory. He is great and greatly to be praised. Even before I came to work and read this updated blog, I was filled with praise this morning. I asked God to give Jaime strength every hour - minute and second of the day and the days ahead.

Janna and Peyton and I sat together in church Wednesday night and we were discussing ya'll being there alone for a couple of days - I didn't LIKE that.....but she said they were going to be with ya'll this weekend but in our conversation, I said at least NOW the days are less than before and the three of you can see the light at the end of the tunnel to come home.

We are so excited that God is bringing you all home. Our church will never be the same. I'm reminded God is the same yesterday and forever but as a result of His works in our life, WE will never be the same. This has been a life changing experience for all.

God bless you today and know He is as close as the mention of His name - don't you love that. That thought alone can carry one...He is as close as the mention of His name. As I shared with ya'll, the message from Him in our ladies prayer group - the words of a prayer don't matter - the power is in His name - call upon the name of Jesus. It is powerful!!!

I love you all and this is Valentine's weekend - each of you are sweethearts to me.

JIMMY - I love you so much. We have a special bond as a man and woman - not in the wrong way - ha! - we would probably kill each other....but I do love you and respect you.
You are a wonderful - good person.

JANICE - You are one of the dearest people in my life. You have been a true friend to me for 40+ years. You are a deep person and I get you. You are very smart and have a ministry of your own in caring for and loving people and taking care of others. The private conversations we have shared I feel I know the depth of your feelings. You are a Godly woman and I have nothing but love and respect for you. I miss you and will be so glad when you are home.

NATALIE - You obviously can't see yourself as others see you and as I personally see you. I see you as an angel in Jaime's life. I see you as a woman who made a vow to love him and you have shown your love through this storm. You are also a Godly woman. You glow with the Holy Ghost - before this - not as a result of this. God is in you and it shows. Baby Tilmon (sp?) is already a blessed baby boy to have you as his mom. A mom that will teach him the ways of God and parents that will see he is raised in the church. You reek with sweetness - not just your wonderful signature cologne -ha! - but your spirit. In life, older ladies appreciate respect from younger ladies but you are respected by us "older" ladies. You have "it"!!!! and Jaime (as a result of his mother's prayers) has YOU and now his son has you as Mom. God bless you and Happy Sweetheart Day to you because you are a sweetheart.

We love you all so much.

  4. We are praying and believing that today will be another day full of blessings. When we place our faith and trust in God, His power is magnified. Over the past weeks, God has proven His faithfulness so many, many times. With great anticipation, we are excited for each of you that your Jackson homecoming is in sight.
We wish you an early "Happy Valentine's Day!".

Our hearts are with you ~ Sue & Cindy Price

  5. So good to hear Jamo is having some good days. I got to enjoy lunch with Jules yesterday. I enjoyed it so much! Of course our whole conversation pretty much was about Jamo and you all. First time we have talked about it and didn't cry. But, it was all uplifting talking about it, and not that heaviness like it has been. I was telling my Jamie about the progress Jamo has made in a week, of course we cried over the phone, but it was tears of joy. He has made so much progress just in a weeks time....God is so good! Jules was talking about how obvious God has shown his power in the last few weeks, where there was no doubt, he was in control. We love you all so very much, and praying the progress continues daily.Hope you all have a Happy Valentine's Day.....Jamo has def. stole the hearts of the staff of the burn center from what I hear!!
