Good Day

Jaime had another good day. He survived one more day without getting sick from the perforated colon. There is no doubt God touched Jaime and didn't allow him to get seriously ill as the doctors said he would. It has now been about 109 hours since the surgery. We thank God for his healing hand, mercy, and grace that touched Jaime. One nurse told me that about 8 out of 10 people that this happened to got very sick. And I assume the other two got a little sick as well. The nurse told me that Jaime was her "Miracle Baby" and "That God wasn't finished with him yet."

God willing, Jaime will be able to resume regular scheduled surgeries soon. When Jaime is ready(possibly Tuesday), they will begin to prepare the rest of his body for grafts. Please keep checking the blog for more updates as they become available.

Thank for your prayers. They have kept Jaime once again in His arms. Please continue to pray to fight off infection and success with his surgeries.

  1. Thank you Jesus for all the good news. I know God has a better plan for Jaime he will heal him and get him back home. People in Haughton and Bossier City are praying for him everyday until he comes home. We love you all.

  2. God is so very, very good! While it's uplifting to receive such great news, it doesn't mean that we've stopped praying!

May you feel the Lord's arms around you and the sweetness of His presence as you walk through this day.

  3. Janice and Jimmy,
Great to see another good report.
Hey, I agree with his nurse, Jamie is truely God's Miracle and the Lord is not finished with him yet. Our faith and prayers is that he will be telling of God's miracles in is life for him self. It is so sweet to hear how his Doctor and nurses have been so very good to Jamie and all of you. It sure makes for a good piece of mind when you have good medical treatment and great bedside mannor form him

  4. Moser Family,
God is so good. He is so great. He can do so many wonders "to behold". We all rejoice with you in the wonderful report. Jaime is in God's hands and all these reports...even the days the report is of urgency still recognize the powerful God we serve. I love you all so much and hope you will all be home soon.
    Love,

  6. Bro. & Sis. Moser,

Please know that ya'll are in our prayers. We only learned of the accident over the weekend and sincerely wish we had known sooner. If we had been aware at Christmas, during which time we were actually in Augusta visiting Ray and Norma Furrow, we would have made ourselves available to help in any way possible. (BTW, Bro. & Sis. Furrow said to call them if there is anything at all they can do at anytime, as they live in Augusta and would be more than willing to help. They can be reached at 936.676.0751).

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said "All that I have seen teaches me to trust the Creator for what I have not seen." After reading through the blog entries it is evident that the Hand of God is at work in Jaime's life. "God is. And all is well." Always know that God has confidence in you that you can make this journey with Him and that "He will never put more upon you than you can bear." Keep the faith and know that we will continue to pray.

  8. My calendar reads today:

If you are in the hands of Him who is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent, there are no legitimate reasons to worry.

Psalm 139:9-10 - "If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast."

Love you all and wishing you all a really good day because the word tells us there is no reason to worry - Jaime is in God's hands - how wonderful!

    Love you all,
    BS
