The news from Georgia is good news. This blog notice also reminds us all that God is in control.
The family was advised at the beginning of this journey there would be up and down - good and bad days. Today the devil tried to make this one of those not good days - but he failed.
Around 5:30pm Jaime's blood pressure was down low and his fever was up. The medical staff was concerned. Naturally a sinking feeling did come upon us.

Natalie and Jimmy went in to see Jaime and then Janice with Natalie. Jimmy was hurting. He said he just wanted to go to sleep with Jaime and them wake up together. He said he could not understand any of this. He said the devil was sitting on his shoulder. I told Jimmy to thump him off. He was not welcome in the waiting room or in our presence - he had to go.
God allowed this bump not to test but prove this family's faith. The devil had been telling God it was easy for this family to have faith because all was going well - some progress better than the hospital expected. Just because the vitals were not what they wanted to hear was only another opportunity for God to show His power.
Little did we know here in Georgia around 8:10pm -that at the home church in Jackson, Pastor Craft was giving an update and asked the church to pray specifically for the fever and infection that Jaime may have.
Greater is He that is in us......

Natalie and Janice came out with signs of relief on their faces - Jaime's BP was steadily going up and fever was coming down! Jimmy really thumped the devil hard and told him where he could go. We were in the presence of God and there is no place for the devil!
Bottom line, the devil sought to destroy this family's faith and God allowed this because He knows them and where they are and more than anything He knows where Jaime is and He will not leave him.
The family asked me to write this and sign my name - I wanted to share the information and share God's greatness!
Prayers were answered but we must keep praying!

ReplyDeleteGod is the strength of our hearts and our portion forever.
May He be your source of strength and inner comfort... to know that our loving Lord is always watching over you...
And that now and always, He's by your side.
I'm here for you, too. amy~
Great Blog Aunt Barb! You are a pro! I'm glad that you and Sharee were able to go spend time with the family! Uncle Jimmy's faith has been really strong during all of this, so it is not unexpected that the devil would try something to hinder his faith! Even though I know that God had some reason for Jaime and the Moser family having to go through this, I had found myself questioning "Why?" on a daily basis! We may never know the answer to the many questions of "why?" that have been asked since December 24, but we all have to try to remember, God knows all the answers! It seems that everytime the Moser Family has a "low" day, they are surrounded by their close friends and family, which is able to help them through those days. That in itself, is God working through others in order to allow them to travel to Augusta and be with the family. As Uncle Jimmy said one day at the beginning of this journey, many years ago he placed Jaime in God's hands and he has to trust God with him now!
ReplyDeleteUncle Jimmy, Aunt Janice and Nat,
I miss you guys so much! Steven is coming this week to spend time with you all, and maybe next week I can come back! I really hate that we can't be there more, but after I get all the books closed and ready for taxes I hope that I can be there more! (But maybe by then, you all will be home anyway!). Aunt Janice, will you do something for me? Scratch Nat's belly and tell Till it is his favorite Aunt Kerri! (Ok Jules - at least I am going to be his favorite non-related, best friend Aunt!)
Anyway, sorry for the lengthy blog, but I just wanted you all to know that we love you very much, and if we can do anything at all, please let us know.
Nat,
Take care of yourself and Till! I'm ready for you to get to come home, so we can have another girls nite! I miss you, Ash and Bec when we don't get our nites together! See you soon! Love you!
Jimmy, Janice, Jaime & Natalie, I am so excited about how God is working for you!! We already KNOW He is in control, but it is good to be reminded once in a while that He really IS in charge of this situation. Last night at 5:30 (when our Sunday night service begins) I went to the keyboard as usual and was ready to begin the music to open our service when my husband walked to the pulpit and said he didn't want any music yet. He just wanted us to begin to worship. So, that is what we did. The whole church went into worship and the power of God came down in such a powerful way. We never did have any music. Just worship and prayer for over an hour. As you know, we have been praying for Jaime and all of you since Jaime's accident. But, last night the urgency to pray for him was almost overwhelming. Isn't God great!! He knew what was needed and sent word to His children to pray!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to remind you and reassure you that God is definately working. We love you guys - Rod and Debbie Nesmith
Aunt Barbara...good job!!!....little did i know when I was texting you today, that any of this had went on. I was at work around 4:00 I guess, I text Aunt Barbara to ask "How are Aunt Janice and Uncle Jimmy doing?"...now I know why I have been feeling the urgent need to pray for you all today. God works in mysterious ways. We pray for ya'll everyday...but some days it's just like God will really burden our hearts to say more than just a normal prayer for Jamo and the family. Everytime I walk in the church doors, there is someone that ask me "how is Jamie and his family?".....it is so good to know that there are many people that are praying on a daily bases and that are concerned about Jamie's progress. Just let this day be a reminder to you,who is in control of Everything....the devil would love to get your faith all down. But, I don't think he knows who he is messing with-Jimmy Moser, or he would know there is no need for him to waste his time. We love ya'll very much....praying for you Nat and "lil til"....love ya'll much. Are prayers are with you this day as everyday!!!
ReplyDeleteAunt Janice the statement about the devil messing with Uncle Jimmy, was not meant to say Uncle Jimmy has more faith than you, only that he is alot more stubborn and set in his ways and don't back down....lol..just wanted to clear that up. Love ya'll!!!
ReplyDeleteCome on hang in there gang I Love You all, GOD Is on our side. Jaimes in his hands with us. He is strong. Prayers are the answers. It takes time for rewcovery. Take care I miss youall. LOve Liz McCrory

his hand at work on your behalf. Thak God for
his people that he can easily work through. I thank the lord for all the love and support you are reciving. You are on my mind all the time. Jamie is beautiful inside and out, and everyone loves him ,us included. It is almost like we don't leave God a choice but to keep him steadily going through , and making improvements untill all is well.

Moser Family,
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts and prayers are with you daily as you travel this unknown path. Jamie is such a strong person, with God's help, I know he will overcome this and once again we will all be reminded of God's love for his children.
You guys are such a wonderful family. The prayers, love and strength you are experiencing and feeling from others are simply a direct result of what you all have been to others over the years.
I will never forget you guys being there for my family and me during a difficult time. You opened your home to me and comforted me..I was just a kid at the time but it meant the world to me. Your love and kindness will never be forgotten.
I love you all very much and will continue to pray for Jaime and you all daily.

Hey friends!
ReplyDeleteSharee and I so enjoyed our visit to Georgia this weekend. We so hated to leave. Driving home, as we were talking about everything - we just wanted to be able to turn around and go back...
Natalie: Sharee and I are so thankful you are Jaime's wife. Sharee said she told you how she admired your strength and you said you were not really strong. Maybe you're not - but God's strength is making you strong. We realize you probably do have times of fear, anxiety, and frustration - but you mask this very well. You are a woman of God! You are an example and I know this is a role you would rather pass on, but sometimes God choses and I believe He chose you to be Jaime's beautiful wife and "for such a time as this"....all is well and will be well....
Jimmy and Janice: I love you both so much. We go so far back.... The two of you may not realize how good your taking this - but you are doing great. I observed God given strength and even a sense of peace that God has given. Jimmy - now you broke my heart this weekend. I came home giving Gary a recap of our visit and I told him I could hardly bear seeing Jimmy so hurt. I told Gary that you are (usually) - always in control - can fix anything and take care of most things except THIS...the biggest challenge of your life and you feel helpless. I want to remind you, Jimmy - you are not helpless. You know how to pray and you know how to get things done and with those two tools - things will happen. I don't think you doubt Jaime will be well - you just want it done!!! HA! God's time is not ours and His ways are not ours but He always gets the job done.
Can't wait for to hear every day what is going on becuase I think from this day forward - there will be more reports of progress.
I didn't share this with ya'll this weekend but I marked on my caldenter the 50th day Jaime would be there and I showed to Sharee this weekend in my dayplanner - I did not mark beyond that day - I put an explanation point after 50. I told Sharee I was praying for the number that Jaime would not go over that date not one day. Will he? - I don't know but I know we can be specific in praying and I'm asking God to give ya'll 50 days or less!!!!!
Thank God for blessing your family on so many levels. Ya'll are great examples!!!

Me again....(Barbara) you know I'm a stickler for detail...saw a couple of "typos" after I sent my message....so sorry....!!!

I read this today and wanted to share....
ReplyDelete1. Pay attention. God never wastes any expereince in our lives.
2. Prepare for the storms of life while the sun is still shining. The only sure thing is that the storms are going to come. In the middle of the loud distracting world you live in, find time to be still and KNOW that HE is God - (Psalm 46:10).
That's all!

To The Moser Family-
ReplyDeleteYou are in our thoughts and prayers each day. This is a time of opportunity - a place where God can show His awesome power with just the mention of His name. While sailing in waters that may be unfamiliar and sometimes a little rough, remember these are the times that God is at the helm guiding our ship - hold to God's unchanging hand. For we know that we are fearfully and wonderfully made - God knows how to care for what belongs to Him. You are precious in His sight. We look forward to receiving wonderful updates. Though we may be miles apart, we are rejoicing for every mountain top. We love each of you!
