Another Battle

Friday evening Jaime's temperature was rising and his blood pressure fell. Doctors diagnosed him with Sepsis. They decided to start treating him with Xygris. He also was put on a gentle(slower) kidney dialysis in order to give his kidneys a rest. This was because he has decreased kidney function. Today, he is showing some improvement from the Xygris medication. However, he desperately needs your prayer to help him fight this infection and kidney problem. Prayer got him through the last battle and it will get him through this one.

Doctors have informed the Mosers that the grafts performed Wednesday reduce Jaime's open wounds from 50 percent to 20 percent. This greatly reduces the possibility of infection in the future. Surgeons may have to do some more surgery on the grafts already performed if they do not heal properly. Surgeons are hoping to have all grafts completed by approximately February 12th. At that point, they plan to remove Jaime from the ventilator if possible. Please pray for his infection and kidney function.

  1. I am praying for Jaime as I write this, he has remained in my prayers daily, as same as you guys have. I'm sure Jaime has people prayng for him all over the country by now. I wanted to give you guys a couple of sciptures of hope that I pray may help today. "So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word." Hebrews 10: 23 and "Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for and hope for and expect the Lord!" Psalm 31: 24

  2. Just want you to know I am praying for Jaime and all of you also. Together we will make a difference. I know the Lord is there with you and he his very much aware of what is going on. You and Jaime are all in his capable hands. Remember the Lord inhabits his praises, and the enemy has no power over a praising child of God.

  6. We are praying for Jaime and all of you, way out west in Wyoming. Our God healed Blake's broken neck in 1997 when he was in a serious auto accident. So I know God hears and answers prayers. He is a God of peace and comfort. We are praying for you everday and checking the blog for updates. God Bless all your family.

  9. To my precious family: I think about you every single day. I wish I could be with you, but my schedule is not permitting it for now. I think about you often during the day while I'm in school and pray for you in my heart. Keep the faith! Thank you for the updates. Love you all.
To my brave, strong cousin: Hang in there. It's going to get better and better. God is carrying you in His hands; and we are carrying you in our hearts here in Texas. There isn't a church service that goes by that your name isn't mentioned and lifted up in prayer. I love you so much. You're my hero.
    love,
